In another few minutes time, year 2010 coming to an end. What have I accomplished? Mmmm....frankly speaking, I have no idea.Well, the 2 things that made me proud are setting up an an online baby/kids apparel store last Dec and growing until now. Business is not bad, which explained why my house looked like a warehouse.
I still have a few boxes else where. :)
And of course, manage to stay in sanity while taking care of Superbaby.
To celebrate the coming new year, I've cooked chicken porridge with fried omelette for dinner. Just a comfort food for the 3 of us (not Caleb, my mother-in-law)
Happy New Year everyone!

Oink Oink meal on Christmas Eve
"I want to have a big feast!"
That's what I told jk on Christmas Eve morning on the way going to have breakfast.
"So, what you want to eat tonight?"
"Dunno but something like gwai lo are having la... I want to be guai po tonight" hahaha...
At first I decide to try out Mr Ho's Bistro for their famous pork knuckle but lastly we settled for The Pork Place at IOI Boulevard instead. We've been talking about trying it out someday but that 'someday' is still remain 'someday' :)
Upon seated, we presented the menu of the day. Sorry...no ala carte menu on Christmas Eve. All comes in set of Soup+Entree+Main Course+dessert for RM90++ per pax or RM79++ for pasta dish.
We ordered 2 set as jk is CINA-AH-PEK (hah!) and he dont fancy gwai lo thingy. He dont like the soup, the dont like the entree and dessert. He just want to try the main dish, Crispy Knuckle and Stuffed Shoulder Loin.
Frankly speaking, I dont know what soup it was. It have a pungent milky taste which I thought was too overwhelming. So, I just quickly glupped this down. Haha...
I didnt take the entree dish's picture. Too busy attending Caleb.
It was round piece of croissant with a hole in middle which stuffed with scallop slices and green peas covered with cream sauce. Taste wise just so so, plain and tasteless. That's why I gave Caleb had a few small pieces of scallop :)
I like the crispy outer layer of the knuckle and the meat itself was tender and juicy. Shoulder loin was quite plain and tasteless. Taste better when dipped it in their cranberry sauce thou. I didnt realise that they didnt give us the baby french bean and subsitute with broccoli instead. Mmmm......
Overall, the meal was ok but for RM90++ per pax is still pricey. No other choice of foods which I wanted to try out since as their Pork Sausage Platter, Homemade Meatball Spaghetti, Bacon and Chesse Burger, Grill Prok Belly Pasta....Wow....
I really need to go there again one day. 'Someday' ....haha

Stuffed Shoulder Loin with baby french beans (I didnt see this on my plate), mashed potato and light cranberry wine sauce.
Crispy Knuckle served with brussel sprout, mashed potato and mushroom sauce.

Cheese cake, Strawberry sauce and ice cream for dessert.
For dessert, normal cheese cake but the texture was soft and and fine. Melt in your mouth every spoonful. Good stuff. Strawberry sauce was normal. Something like Mcdonald's Strawberry Sundae and ice cream was just vanilla ice cream.
Wood logs deco. Woody Woodpecker will like this a lot! Haha..
I really need to go there again one day. 'Someday' ....haha

Crab @ Tak Fok Seafood Restaurant
Tak Fok Seafood Restaurant are well known for its cheap and delicious crab. Too bad we didnt order any of their signature crabbiesss. Reason being? Caleb is the biggest culprit! Haiz...
We saw this table-stand-with pictures menu on our table. Yes, at here, this is only the so-called menu. As i flipped through it, this picture catches my attention. One jiu-yim four season bean please!
We ordered a few dishes and all of them tasted very very GOOD.
Chicken with marmite sauce.
Chicken strips was crispy but slightly tough and chewy. Luckily, with marmite sauce, it complemented the whole dish.
Fried four season bean with salt and pepper on menu
It turned out to be bland and tasteless. But it was crunchy, the batter was light and crispy. Edible but definitely no next time. :)
Fried tofu with preserved salted vege
I always try to order at least 1 type of tofu or egg dish whenever we dine out so that Caleb wont feel left out. He can still nibble abit in it with a few grains of rice and that should keep him occupied until the end of our meal. *wink wink*
Caleb's plate: rice and tofu
Curry prawn in coconut shell
This is the best dish in our whole meal. The gravy was fragrant, slightly spicy and goes very well with rice. The prawns were BIG! and FRESH!! and CRUNCHY!!! No wonder every patrons have this on their table. Next time if you don't know what dishes their shop good at, just look around.
Caleb busy eating
We will definitely go there again. Mostly probably for their Curry Prawn....yes, we found another eatery place in Bandar Puteri.

My birthday today, so?
Today is my birthday. In another 1 hour, my birthday is over. I'm so want it to be over quickly. Maybe if I go to bed early then I wont be thinking much about my birthday. What is so damn special about birthday anyway? Birthday is just like any other day. You need to eat, you need to shit, you need to cook, you need to clean and you need to do things you'd normally do. Birthday or no birthday it still 24 hour in a day, earth is still spinning, the sun is still coming out and goes down by the end of the day.
Basically this day, you made you mother suffer like hell in bring you out to this world. Subsequently suffering everynight whether or not she breastfeed you...clean you, bath you, change your diaper, wipe shit from your butt and when you get older, you choose to ignore her, driving her up the wall, etc etc etc....
So, what so damn special? Well,.....nothing lor. Really nothing....

the day Caleb @ Genting
Ah hoyday everybody! Oh yes, I'm in a damn good mood cox I'm going to HK in another 3 weeks time! Hahaha....counting down each days, hours and minutes. LOLz...
Anyway, just an update on our short-1-day trip to the City of Entertainment last saturday. The last time I stepped a foot there was like 3-4 years ago. Yes, it looks different indeed, changed alot with more and more shops erupted in First World Building itself. One moment I do feel like I'm in one of the major shopping comples in town.
After we've planned it for almost a month, finally the day arrived. I'm so excited...haha, I mean I get to bring my own kid to Genting. Can you imagine the awe on their face and the excitement of them jumping up and down....more excited than you've bought yourself hundred pairs of SHOES! But Caleb still dont know how to show me that. It is me that in awe and jumping up and down... :D
Yea, Caleb didnt give you enough face expression but I know he is happy and excited. All the time, he's trying to figure out what is this place, why so many people walking around and why I'm being wrapped up like 'bak chang' (a dumpling) and why the weather was so so so damn cold! Thick mist and strong wind. I think I underestimated Genting's weather as I get to hear all the comments about 'not so cold la' compare to 20 years ago...but hell no, it's damn cold alright ok!
Reached up there at around 1:30pm. Jk dropped us off and he went searching for a parking. But school holiday and weekend make it worse than ever to find a decent or not-so-decent parking place. So, after 2hour freaking hours only he joined us back but the look at his face was like kena 'fried' like that. Fuyoohh....blacker than hokkien mee ler...
While waiting for jk to come, we just strolled around, with Caleb checking out every girls and lasses out there...See Caleb sexy tight? Is like he's taking ballet classes. Haha!
His bum bum got a teddy bear print! Haha..so catchy! We decided to buy one day unlimited ride pass for all park which was RM59/person. For 3 person it was already RM177 and at that time, it was already pass 3pm. We really need to make it quick to queue up and get in as many rides as possible but there were sooooo many people with kids. One ride already took us more than half and hour. Geez....
Face so scare like that. But I know he is confused. Hahaha...first time experience ma. Noticed he being wrapped up like bak chang?
Anyway, after the ride, we turned around and saw this Beryl's Chocolate Wonderland. Oh, nice...must have a lot of chocolate inside. So, we went in.
Jk put down Caleb and let him walked around by himself. He happily walked and walked while I took pictures of him. Mana tau I just took 1 picture then suddenly 'ploik', Caleb fall flat on the coarse stone floor, kissed the floor and followed by wuaaaaaaaaahhh!!!
So loud until a few people turned and look at us.
We hurrily picked him up from the floor, calmed him down but he's crying with tears streaming down his cheek. Yes, must be very painful, if not he wont cry like that. Haaaiii.....we also can feel the pain too....
A few minutes later, we got this.
Didnt cry anymore but putting up a sad face. Kesiannya.....
While walking around we saw a clown standing and twisting balloons. I turned and asked Caleb "See, balloon....you want?" He nodded his head eagerly. And he got a dog! which makes him smile again.
So, we continue to walk and walk and walk. Me as usual taking pictures la. It was really packed up there, really really packed with adult, elderly, kids screaming their head off, adult screaming from above, left and right. I didnt ride in anyone of those. So scary and I hate that feeling of having your stomach in your mouth. Bluek!
We walked up hill to Dinasour Land. We passed Caleb around among 3 of us. Nobody can carry him for a long time, somemore walked up staircase leh. (the next day, 3 of us woke up with a sore arms and pain at the back! - haha)
Basically there's nothing to do plus due to whatever reason, the boats that suppose to bring us cruising around the dinasour lake was closed. So, we just took pictures at the end.
We walked until we were so tired and hungry plus carrying Caleb around is not joke. So, we just went inside dunno what cafeteria and ordered some foods and drinks. Jk ordered a plate of Char Koey Teow which came in the size of my palm and costs RM11.50 and a bottle of mineral water at RM3.00 O.o
Everything up there is like GOLD.
I ordered a cup of nescafe which taste like sh** and a chicken burger which taste like vegetarian chicken meat with 2 slices of bun. NOTHING ELSE IN BETWEEN!!! Oh yea, got...a splash of chili sauce. These 2 rubbish costs RM13. O.o
Geng leh?
Caleb had his milk and bread. His meal is the most tastiest one already..hehe...see, so happily munching on it.
After that we searched for antique car ride and I like this ride alot! First because I need not to have the stomach-inside-my-mouth feeling and secondly I can admire the scenery without need me to walk and carrying superbaby. Hehehe....
As it's getting late and cold and windy, we went back into indoor theme park and continue with queuing up for rides. After one round of reindeer and carousel ride, Caleb's face began to show 'screen saver' face. Hah...must be tired la. We walked up and down the escalators, pushing his stroller bumping here and there.
10 minutes later......
Diam diam, he slept already. So, jk went and get the car and go back lor. That's all for our one day Genting trip.
I told jk "Next time we need to choose normal day instead of school holiday to go there."
Jk: "What? again ar?"
Yupe. Again.

Caleb's first time riding on it. He holding on the bar like holding on his dear life.
Outdoor carousel ride.

'mi mi mi'
I think I should blog about this, just a remark to remind myself a few years down the road of Caleb's milestones.
@ 16 months and 2 weeks old, Caleb is calling me "mi mi mi mi" (when he need something badly and I choose to ignore him)
He even called my mother in law "ma ma ma ma"... so just to differentiate, Ipester ask him to call me "mi" :)
For the dadi, oppsss...sorry, nothing for you yet!
Just a short post about today. We went for a relative's funeral this afternoon after we heard that he passed away on last saturday. He had been sick for almost 7 years after his 1st stroke. Got better and recovered but came again after 2 years. And his health was deteriorate from day to day...so I guessed, this is some kind of relief anyway, for himself and his loves one around him.
So, we brought Caleb there too since many of jk's relative have not met our superbaby. Once he got down on the floor, with no what-so-ever shy shy attitude, he begin his 'PR' with kids around. Getting into their group, playing with them and messing around. As most of the kids are alot older than him, so, most of the time they just ignore him. But superbaby is not the baby to mess around, he continue 'kacau' ing all the kids around him. Hahaha....

Favourite stunt of the week
Caleb's favourite stunt of the week, stepping on those 2 rings and walking around the house with it. Dont ask me why, I dont have any idea.
Just like how you would wear your high heel, kik kok kik kok kik kok with the heel off the floor.
See, I told you he is full of surprises.... I wonder what's gonna happen next......

At 16 months, he can...
1. understand the meaning of bathing time. Whenever I said "ok, time for pom pom", he'd stood up and leave everything behind, took his towel and waited for me in front of my bedroom door. When I opened the door, with towel dragging on the floor he'd straight walked into the bathroom.
2. understand the meaning of hungry, eat, drink water and milk. He nodded his head whenever I asked him if he's hungry. I dont know if he's really hungry or I've just trigger his mind on food. When it comes to food, he would whacked up just about everything.
3. understand the meaning of 'no more' and 'finish'. Depends on what food he's eating. If porridge, then it's ok. If it banana he will bang his butt, scream, whine, cry and curve his body backway. Sometimes I gave in, but other time, finish means finish. Cannot everything also give in one ma, right?
4. bark like a dog 'woo..' 'woo...' 'woo...' without the 'f' sound, whenever we asked him 'Caleb, dog how?'
5. make 'vroom' 'vroom' 'vroom' sound when we asked him 'Caleb. car car how?' or automatic when he saw cars passing by.
6. meow like a cat too...need more practise on this. :) Basically his meowing is like the cat dont have enough eat. (currently I'm teaching him to roar like a tiger...)
7. bring his potty to me (when I asked him if he want to poo) after his morning milk for poo poo.
8. clap his hand, stomp his feet and shout 'hoo hoo hoo' while raising his arms up. (result into watching and listening to 'If you happy and you know it...' too MUCH.
9. feel jealous of the laptop and hates it whenever I sit down facing it. He's either bring alot of his toys for me and pester me to play with him or bring a book to me and shove it to my hand and demand me to flip pages for him. Aah..dictator!
10. sign 'hi' raise up his hand, 'bye' twisting his hand and 'flying kiss' basically slap himself on his mouth followed by 'aaaah' - all these even to a stranger! *pengsan*
11. knows when we all going kai kai (with me and jk all dressed up) and would waved to jk when he sees jk carrying working bag and tell him 'Dadi working'. This followed by wave and flying kiss.
12. recognised some of his toys and would bring it to us when we requested for some of them.
13. point to his ear, hair, teeth, mouth, toes, finger and bellybutton when you asked him to. Sometimes depends on his mood also la...

There are still many things that he did spontaneously least you expected it.
He is full of surprises.
You wont know what he is capable of until you ask him to do it.
