About one month ago, out of the blue, somehow I dont know why, I took the challenge to bring Caleb out to shopping mall all by myself. Never once I've thought of bringing him to any shopping mall without the father but somehow that day, I did. And I'm glad I did because we found something there.
REKA ZONE - an indoor playground.
Still remember the first indoor playground we brought him to Megakidz in Midvalley? He really went head over heels there until didn't want to go back. But it's normal la right? Suddenly got so many things to play with, big place to run around. The only problem is it's too far from my staying place and it's quite pricey also la.
So, I went in to check out the price. Surprisingly the entrance fee is quite cheap. For non member it's only RM15 and if you're a member, it's only RM10 (on weekdays) for kids at age 2 - 12 years old.
Ho ho ho...I became their member on the spot. Paid all the necessaries like member's fee, entrance fee and bought 2 pair of socks - one for both of us :)
Peek-a-boo!
Nevertheless, Caleb was having a helluva fun there and the good thing, it doesn't burn a hole in my wallet :) For this month, they are having another 10% discount for the members. So, the entrance fee is only RM9 for unlimited fun time.
Basically he went gaa-gaa-goo over all those colorful balls. Oh, my son loves BALLS very much.
The orange machine is for them to feed lots and lots of balls inside, press a button attached and all those balls flying out from the hose and creating 'rain of balls' effect.
Caleb was going 'high' when he saw all these!
Going through wavy-netted tunnel....and weeeeee....down the slide.
Air Bouncer - not Caleb's favourite thou. He hardly went inside there and bounce but he bounced like mad on bed at home. Wonder why...
Reka Zone Aviation Play System. Just a small one if compared with Megakidz in Midvalley. But it's already sufficient to accommodate a toddler (like Caleb's age). It is safe and not so high. Caleb could climb up without my help and me watching him from below. Telling him numerous time to be careful.
Rock climbing? Nahhh....
Slide? Yesssss..... He can play this over and over and over again.
Ok, time to go into the house. This is Caleb's house :)
This is the way we wash out hand, wash our hand, wash our hand...
So now, I'm bring him to this playground once a week, more like a routine. If he behave well, maybe twice a week. But the most important thing is the mother hor, also bored at home too la. Sometimes we need to take a breath outside.
:)

Hey,try to make sure that you would cleanse his hands with soap after the play,ya cos they will prevent Caleb from the diseases ya and I am sure Caleb clamor for more of this outing,,,
By the way,how come you never take him out alone?
I hardly bring my kids to the playground in my town here. Reason is, they refuse to go back and will make a scene when I try to bring them out~ fuh!
Only when my kids are behaving very (extremely) well, then I would allow them play on Sundays. Btw, we have FOC playground in Giant, but with very very limited play-equipment. My kids will go ga-ga over REKA playground, too if I brought them there :)
Happy to see he is well now and hope he is happy & healthy always.
@Eugene: Yes, everytime before we leave the place, I'll wash his hands thoroughly with soup. And mine too. All diseases now are too 'geng'. Better be cautious.
Hahaha...I never bring him out alone because he's too active. It is no fun running after a haywire toddler all over the place. That's why. But now, he understood that whenever he misbehave, there'll be 'cane' waiting for him at home and no more kai-kai.
@yvonne: Haha...some goes with Caleb. But with a constant reminder, if he created a scene there, there'll be no more next time. So, at the moment it still works. :)
@jobless girl: Thanks. Yes, he's well and happy now. :)
eh eh eh... Caleb wear the Hawaii t-shirt de... kekeke... can wear de... nice :p yi yi bought more clothes for u de... kekeke...
@Sujean: I think he got one batch of clothing at your place. Hahaha...the mother no need to buy baju for him already :)
oh where is this Rekazone? looks interesting. I guess all kids love the play area like this :)
Caleb looks like he's the only child playing there, hehe. Thinking of taking Sairah to Megakidz one day...we always go to MV but I didnt know it existed until I saw their website earlier today and now your blog post
@Barb: This RekaZone is at IOI Mall Puchong. It's kinda small compare to the one in Midvalley but it is sufficient for 2-3 yo toddler. Oh yea, they'd go crazy in this play area....
@ Cas: Yupe because normally I'd bring him during the weekdays. Very few kids playing there and sometimes only him alone. It is crowded during the weekends and I'm worry if some bigger kids run over him. You know, he's so tiny :)
