I did some housekeeping a few days ago and left with some empty carton boxes. Just when I thought of throwing it away, suddenly I have this idea of turning it into another toy for Caleb.
I carved a hole in front and another one at the back. Drew a door knob, 2 windows (with curtains...ahem~), and flowers.
Hideous right? hahahaha....
It's Caleb's house :)
Anyway, he having lots of fun playing with it. That's what it really matters.

what a innovative mum.. :)
this is so nice. i like making house of box too, but hub was always so afraid of the sharp corners cutting the kids. isn't easy to get creative over here when hub is overly protective all time.

Hahaha...totally understand that. My husband is protective kinda father too but when I remind him that his son is actually made from 'steel' and the 'pain-nerves' already putus, he agreed. lolz...
No la it is not hideoeus. As you said the most important thing is he had fun.
Your post inspires me to look out for ways to have fun with my kids. Most of the time I am thinking, what do I need to buy for them, or where do I have to take them?
Maybe I should start looking at the stuff in my home with a different perspective!
Hi Adino, thanks for the compliments. Ya, should look around at stuff. Kids are simple and things like this can accompany them for long time but Caleb's house only can last for 3 days before all were torn.
Yea, that's my monster son :)
such a great idea! love the house :)
Mummy to Chumsy: Thanks :) although the house already badly torn by now.
