Final clean up and packing in Hometown

I went back to my hometown last weekend and had a few of my 'craving food' there.....


This will be my last trip going back up until I've delivered. Yupe, my confinement will be at my hometown, my house, my room, my bed and being serve by not 1 but 2 confinement lady. Like your royal highness like that..lollollol..... Who are the 2? My mom and my MIL laaaa.. :) One become my tukang masak and another one become my tukang jaga baby...Blissful eh? Dont jeles...hahahah



Anyway, since I dont have anything to do at home, I digged out all baby clothings that were given to me. Thank you auntie Sally, anutie Sujean and Hk's aunt. Yes, all given. Some are just newly bought by auntie Sujean, some 2nd hand passed down to me by auntie Sally. I dont mind, nope..not at all. Some are still new and like havent worn before.

See? Mountain and mountain of clothes. Maybe be if I have twin also cannot finish wearing.. :D

Yupe, these are the only part of it. Another half still at my MIL's place. But that will only fit when he's reaching 1 or 2 years old...

For now, it should be more than enough. Unless if I couldnt resist and buy those 'joker' baby clothes when I come across it again..heheheh..

1st time stepped foot in SJMC

This morning I woke up with chest pain. It just below my rib cage and it's really pain when I tried to move from left to right or right to left and taking a deep breath. As now I have to wake up more than 5 times just to go to the toilet in middle of the night. If I remained still for some time and move, I'll feel pain at the back, side, chest, butt, arms, pendek kata...everywhere la.... hai....

It worried me as I just had a fall few days ago and when I told jk in the morning, he asked whether want to go see doctor or not. I said ok. Dr. Fong's clinic not open on Wednesday ( he just open 3 days in a week), we have to go to SJMC if we really need to see him. So I thought, ok no harm going also as we havent been there before. We just want know that if anything happen, we know where we need to head to. We were told by Dr Fong's nurse we should straight go to Labour Ward, new wing, level 4 and not Emergency Unit because just pushing you in the wheelchair to Labour ward, they'll charge in the bill. Wahhh...Robbery in daylight without a knife arrrr.......sei mou

Anway, we drove to SJMC. As we reaching the traffic light, we dont know where to turn to as there are 2 buildings. Took a wild guess and choose the one on the right. And then we have to figure which entrance to go in...

Saw one entrance but there's sign showing "For doctors only" then another entrance, sign showing "Emergency Only" Damn...why they like to make us so confuse one. We looked closely again, just hiding beside the doctors entrance there is small entrance that didnt have any sign. Ahhh..this must be it la. Drove through and took the ticket. Luckily one car in front us was reversing. Wow...chap sei kai :p, or so I thought. In front us there was this Myvi car waiting with his signal light..tik tok tik tok. Cheh.... :(

But before the car was reversing out, another car beside was going to reverse also. Ok, not bad at all...So we waited for the 1st car to come out so that Myvi can go in and 2nd car out and we can go in......Sorry la..this post very cheung hei one..

Anyway, this bugger want reverse parking. Ok, fine la. We just wait. But the way he parked the car was so senget. We thought he will straighten it back because we need to park beside him. No, he didnt do that. He just leave it like that, came out from his car with his selamba face and walked off. I was so pissed off and I stared at him. What, think he is the only one rushing and we are not ar..Grrr......No choice la...we still park beside his car. I think he saw us talking inside while staring at him, because after he came out from his car and walking towards the hospital while keep on turning his back to look at us. Until we have park our car, come out, he still look see look see in our direction...See whether we got bang his car or not la....Serve him right!

Well, to cut the story short, Dr. Fong was not in his clinic when we went there and no choice we were transfered to another Gynae. Dr T.S. Tan. Asked me what he can help because he knows that I'm Dr. Fong's patient. Explained everything to him, what happen, when happen, feel pain now, why it happen...nola..this I didnt tell. You want me to tell him because I was chasing my rabbit that's why I fall down meh.. :)

He said it suppose to be ok since there is no bleeding and it can take much more impact than that. But just for safety, he did scanning for me. He said usually if there's falling accident happened, first thing to check whether there are any rupture in placenta. Luckily, nothing happen. Placenta still intact, a lot of fluid inside and baby's kicking. Thank God!! There were 2 nurses inside to assist me. They are sooo nice...helping me lay down and get up. Always tell me to be careful, careful...so nice :)

So, everything is ok. Went down to cashier for payment.


Taaaa-daaaaaaaaa.....and the bill came to RM102.50
-outpatient dept: RM14
-Imaging (less than 1 minute): RM43.50
-Consultation: RM45

No wonder there are 2 nurses inside. All package come with a price....
Pengsan leh...I want to go back and claim back from footy!!

And I had my 1st fall ...@ week 34

What I am about to tell you is quite scary and me myself haven't really got over it. Thank god me and my baby are ok.

I had a fall last night. Quite a sudden fall on the floor with my knee hitting the floor and followed by my big tummy. When I thought of it, before I went to sleep last night and after I woke up this morning, I still feel like a nightmare.....

Anyway, here it goes...

Last night as usual I let Caca out from his cage. I usually let him roam around my living with shutting all the room's door and toilet door as well. I put 2 playpen as a barrier to prevent him going into the kitchen and fight with footy. Yes, footy's cage is inside the kitchen and they can fight even when one is in the cage.

I went into kitchen to fetch some water into my tupperware when I saw footy not like his usual self. He curled up into a big ball and doesnt response when I took out brittal bunny's container (brittal bunny is kind of pellets food that he'll go crazy about it) shake it but he didnt response as well. I took one, go near his mouth and he doesnt want to eat. Mmmm..what happen to this guy..

Then I stroke his head and ask him how are you feeling? As usual he didnt response too...heh heh heh..okok. I felt that he's shedding again because some furs sticking on my hand and without closing his door, I stand up and took out a sticky roller on top of my breakfast table, just nearby. Lo behold.....footy without any warning, dashing out and meet with Caca outside. With the playpen as a barrier, they were fighting like no tomorrow, biting and scratching each other's face.

I was shocked when I saw them fighting, I want to get a hold on footy but I was off balance when I run to him. I kicked the play pen open, footy launched into the living with caca, I was stumbled, off balance, knee hitting the floor and followed my tripped over and my tummy hitting the floor. I was shocked!!! Damn shock!!

Jk was watching tv, immediately run to me and asked me if I'm ok. He damn shocked also.... I just lay on the floor and a few minutes, laying on my left and try to breath deeply. At this time, jk asked me continuously any pain, got bleed or not, any water leaking.....I just shook my head and said no...I'm ok. Catch them and put them into the cage first.

After he settled with them, he came and asked me same questions again. Got pain or not, got bleed or not, any water coming out or not, wanna go see doctor or not....(like what Doctor Fong used to ask me..)

Then he helped me stand up, sit down for awhile, breath in and out...concentrate whether the baby is moving or not.....It scare the shit out of me when I didnt notice any movement. I pray pray hard to God...please please.....

I slowly went into my room, bathed and wait for my baby to move. I checked if I'm bleed but nope, nothing happen. Finally my baby let out a hard kick in my tummy. I am soooo relieved. Yes, he's moving...he's fine. No pain...No blood...No water...

I tried to google and searched for any consequences from falling. I'm relieved again when I found out that not every fall will bring danger to the baby. As the baby is well cushioned by the uterus and amniotic fluid. Jk pleaded me dont do that any more....hahaha..I guess I scared the shit out of him too....I know..I'm sorry

Well, that's the whole story....Today, baby moving as usual. Kicking and squirming. Never feel so relieve and happy when he is moving like that. I'm really thank god!

@ 34 weeks

Everytime I went for my routine check up, Doc Fong will asked me few "everytime question"...


Doc: You are in bla blab weeks now.

Me: Ok


Doc: Any bleeding?

Me: Nope (unless I bleed just now when I go to toilet. If I got it earlier, confirm I'll dash out and look for u...right?)



Doc: Itchiness?

Me: Nope (same as above)


Doc: Baby moving?

Me: Yes (are you kidding? he is not only moving, but he's doing lion dance inside... :D)



Doc: Ok, check your weight.

Me: (I'm so dread this moment, slowly walking toward the weighing machine.......sigh.....really have to popi popi..please please dont overweight)


After walking up the weighing machine, a nurse beside me see and see the numbers and finally she tell out a very promising number...thank god! hehehe...start to think what to have later de...

Doc: Ok


I wonder if jk terrified because he is sitting opposite the doctor. Anything wrong, doc will shoot him first..Lol


Then have to lie down and doctor come and check my blood pressure, baby's heart beat and baby position.

Doc: Everything's ok.

All done within 10 minutes...so efficient. Paid up RM35, went downstair bought iron pills and folic acid. And........come go eat NOW!!!

I WANT TO CELEBRATE!!!

Indulgence after my check up...

I went for my bi-weekly check up last thursday and the good news was....I only gained 1kg!!!

Doctor was pleased, jk was pleased and I'm more than pleased! That means I can have a very good dinner afterward...hahaha

As usual, jk asked me the same question: "Eat what?" and the indulgence begin......ngek ngek ngek!

First stop: Sakae Sushi in IOI Mall. Sorry no pictures because too excited already ..LOL

Second stop: Secret recipe. Cakes!!

Chocolate Indulgence. Mixture of Belgium chocolate and white chocolate. But too creamy and not much layer of spongy cake.

Classic Cheese. This is not the picture I took. I just found it in the net. I ordered take away for both. But after I opened up the box, the cakes overturn inside...if i post up that picture, you wont want to eat cakes anymore...hahaha

Yay..!! The only time didnt get scolding from my gynae

Went for check up last Thursday and that day was the only time I didnt get scolding from him. Phewww....
My weight remained the same for 2 weeks....hahaha

After check up, we went for celebration at Shogun in Sunway Pyramid. It's actually a Japanese buffet style restaurant. Haha...not celebration la...but a planned gathering with my ex-colleagues. So nice to see them after sometimes now.

Anyway that was the only time after so long I didnt care what I ate. Tiramisu cake at the dessert bar was heavenly..!!!! I ate 3 pieces of it. I still have 2 weeks to go before my next check up ma...........

Shit! My weight increase again!!

I'm in my 3rd trimester now. Baby growing very healthy inside me. Why I said that? The constant kicking and punching, squirming and turning everyday, or should I say every single moment of the day. He'll only rest for less than 1h before attack me again!!

Last 2 weeks ago, went for usual monthly check-up. My weight is keep on increasing. Which started from 5th month increased 3kg and 6th month increased 2kg and 2kg at my last checking. Got scolding from my fierce Gynae for that.....wtf!!

He told me to cut of carb out totally. That means no rice, no bread, no noodle and no milk. Meaning I can very well die starving....

Anyway, I'm guessing the culprit should be the maternal milk that I'm taking everyday. Sometimes I drink 2 or 3 cups a day. When the gynae told me to cut my meals into half, I took the milk whenever I'm feeling hungry. Normal la right, hungry ma....

Well, I stopped taking the milk for almost 2 weeks now and hope that my next visit (which is this thursday) to the gynae will show some positive improvement. Pray pray pray...!!

Maternity wear are hard to find

Ever since my growing tummy become the size of basketball now, maternity wear are so hard to find and one that fit me and dont cause a bomb is harder than scooping footy up and cut his nails. That's why I normally wear loose sleeveless blouse with short pants at home. With the weather so hot nowadays, I prefer to stay in my room and switch on both air-con and fan together. That will cold me down quickly.

I didnt buy much maternity clothes. Most of them are given to me by jk's sister in law and some by my friends. I dont mind wear 2nd clothes as they dont fit forever and will save me more money in a long run. But I will still buy most of my inner garments as second-hand dont quite appealling to me. Actually it's make sense also la...do you want to wear second-hand/used underwear? Or even a bra? Mmmm...blekkkk...

Now I'm searching for online shop selling maternity wear. I found one with quite reasonable price.

Just that I hope, the clothes shown can fit me and the company (if it is a company) wont run away with my money. Mmm...think I better make a 1 purchase first....just to be safe.

Penang Assam Laksa

This is the Penang Assam Laksa my mom cooked the other day. The picture is quite blur because I took it with my Sony Ericsson W910i hp. The phone itself is not bad but in term of picture quality, it's damn sucks!!

Anyway, my mom cooked the broth with big chunks of fish meat. All big chunks of fish meat overwhelming the whole laksa broth and noodles inside. I'm not sure of whole ingredients that she used but I can recongnised a few. Tamarind (assam), Polygonum leafs (daun laksa) and ginger flower (bunga kantan). Without these 3 ingredients, your laksa cannot be known as laksa, it should only known as curry noodle instead....

Of course no Penang Assam Laksa is complete without a spoonful of heh ko or prawn paste. Dont smell it, just scoop and let it melt in hot gravy. Otherwise, you'll start looking for any dead rats nearby...haha

Busy Weekend...

Cousin sister came,

Woke up early in morning,

Watched movie till wee hour,

Walked till foot pain,

Good food in stomach,

Dr. Fong's face lingering in mind,

Shouted at me "Watch your weight for godsake!!"

Going be vegetarian for the rest of my 2 weeks,

Before my next check up........

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, tai yan (adult) and sai lou kor (children), after 5 months of wondering-and-hoping-it-is-a-girl-feeling-symptom, I want to show you all that it's got a kuku jiau (birdie) afterall....wahahahaha

It's a boy.....

Went for monthly check up and did a scanning which cost me RM220 yesterday in Subang. As I was laying down, my gynae scanned my tummy for baby's heart, kidney, stomach, spine and the same time measuring baby's skull, leg, hand. Not much conversation between my gynae and me actually during he did the scanning.

Here is some short conversation between us:

Me: So, that's the heart? (trying to get the gynae to explain to me)

Gynae: Yes..........(silent for long time)

Me: What is that?

Gynae: Kidney (silent again...with serious face facing the monitor and moving the 'thing' up and down on my tummy)

Me: (One look at the gynae's face, he really looks like some headmaster we had back in primary school...so stern and serious.....I better shut up :x)

Suddenly....

Gynae: It's a boy

Me: Hah?......Pardon?

Gynae: Boy, it's a boy...

Me: (*hand smacking forehead de)

Anyway, we are still happy because the most important thing is he'll be a healthy baby BOY...
