Time to sleep? Nyoooo.............

Everyday I need to bear with Caleb's thunder cries, twice a day.

First in the afternoon and second at night.

Why?

Because he's becoming so obsessed with his 2 cousins playing with him all day long and the hype of all the toys around him. Gosh....is like I need to battle in a war every time when I need make him sleep.

Every time, I will try reasoning with him, "you see, all che che going to sleep already, you sleep too, ok?" The answer? "Nyyooooo....." and he will run or turn his head away. After tour-ing around the house, proving to him that nobody's around anymore, I bring him inside the room. Then, all those dramas begin.

He plonked himself on the floor, wailing on top of his voice and crawled towards the door. Sometimes he would cry until off balance and knocked his head either on the floor or the door. Then the pitch goes even higher ... lolz
Me? I just watched him laying down on my bed. Hahaha......got used to it already la. My ears also got used to the high pitch sound. It happened for almost 5 days now, twice a day...you do the calculation :)

Normally after 10-20 minutes, when he fianlly realised that he's not going anywhere, he'd come to me with his face all covered with saliva, tears and those nasty things from his nose, laying down beside me, still crying for another 5 minutes and dozed off at last. This fler can be really long winded.... can cry for so long. Haiiii.......

I hope I dont have to go through all these torturous act again when we back at home. Yala, although got used to it already but sometimes we dont have purposely stretch ourself up to the limit, right? :)

In Singapore

I dumped jk at home and fly away with his son to the land of Singapore :)

Hahaha....

Well, we just reached yesterday and planning to stay for a week here. After so many times of persuasion from my sister in law, keep on insisting me to come and stay. Finally me and superbaby survived in 45 minutes journey by flight (yeah!!....I survived!) My mother in law was coming with me, so I'm more relax, at least I know I got another pair of eyes, hands and legs.

For a start, our flight was delayed for 30minutes. WTF!! 30 minutes with superbaby is like 3 hours. As usual he was climbing up and down on all the chairs, trying to hop from one chair to another, trying to eat some leaves and dirt, running everywhere.....aiyaiyai.....

Really, luckily my mil was there, if not I dont know what I can do -.-

Anyway, Caleb has been enjoying himself very much. Playing with his 2 cousins from morning till night. Toys are everywhere, is like we have just entered the city of entertainment. So, this superbaby been playing non stop, not even for milk or nap or bedtime. Really geng....can tahan for 17hours straight with 30minutes nap in between. Even that he still whining want to go out and play when I tucked him in for bed at 10pm.

I'll just let him enjoy himself, after all, he just have me to torture play with at home :)

Oh btw dadi, if you are reading this, I think he completely forget about you. He didnt even mention the word "di di di...." If he can forget about milk milk, I dont think he can remember you :p

Caleb with his jab

Uhh...sexy bum!

We took Caleb for his DPT & Polio and HiB (3-in-1 cocktail) jab last week. We were quite worried at first when the doctor told us that this jab might cause fever and swollen on his buttock. As soon as we enter the room, the doctor greet us with a big smile on his face. Hahaha.....yes, friendly doc.
I sat down on the chair with Caleb sitting on my lap, preparing his butt for the jab. Hehe...

While waiting for nurse to come back with jabbing equipment, Caleb begin to squirm back and fro wanting to come down. Ok, fine. Go down....and he straight headed to the door. Doctor laughed and said "Oh, your baby sensing something not right, better escape first". We all laughed.

We quickly catched carried him back and I was holding him tight while Dadi showing him some pictures inside the handphone. That will keep him still for 1 minute. But the doctor awas very fast. 1, 2, 3....we heard "Ehhh..." and Caleb turned to his back to see what happen and wondering why suddenly so pain one? hahaha.....We know what he's thinking by just looking at his face.

He started to squirming on my lap wanting to go down again. I put him down after everything's done and I said "Oh yeah! Finishhhhh...!" and Caleb started to clap his hand. *Pengsan* 

No crying, no screaming....nothing. At the end, before getting out from doctor's room, Caleb flashed his cheeky smile, waved bye bye and gave flying kiss to the doctor.

Kesimpulan: Caleb punya saraf sakit sudah putus..... or disconnect already

Making bread

4 years ago, I baked my first cake using pre-mix powder and a small toaster oven. I just need to add water, oil and eggs and voila, I CAN BAKE too!

Every since, I've become more adventurous and decided to make cake from scratch. I bought a weighing machine, measuring cups and god-knows-all-other baking utensils. Search for various cake recipes in the websites and now, I can bake a very nice cake. Well, at least jk with his sharp mouth said my cake taste nice :)

2 days ago, I tried to bake BREAD for the first time. The outcome...well, errmmm, abit dense? Not abit, it FREAKING HARD ler!

That's the truth T__T

I can kill a dog if I throw 3 of these continuously.

Or instant death with one of this.

And all goes into the bin.... T___T, yes, *other sad face

I searched and googled and pawned on other's blogger website for bread recipe again. And this time, for the first time I got to know something called Water Roux. It is actually a mixture of bread flour and water. Cook it on slow open fire until the consistency turned into some paste, mix it together when you are making the bread. Due to higher water content (1 part flour : 5 part water) it suppose to make the bread fluffier and softer.

My 2nd attempt

Indeed, the bread were fluffier when it came out from the oven. When it get cooler, it become abit hard but not as hard as previous batch. Edible? Yes, just that I need to steam or toast it before I slabbed some peanut butter on top. It is acually quite good considered this is homebake without any preservatives and bread softener.

 Come here doggie, you dont have to scare of me anymore :)

At least when I feed it to Caleb, I can have a peace of mind :)

Caleb sick

My pity boy is having fever now. His temperature reading between 36.9C to 37.6C...

He, as usual jumping up and down, running here and there just that he dont have good appetite to eat. I made him some soba noodle with soup. He just ate one spoonful of noodle and the second one he just spitted it out. Asked him if he want noodle, he shook his head. Means no - no. But when I asked him if he want any soup, he nodded :)

Yea, can communicate a bit already.

In the end he drink all the soup and left the noodles. So, mami take care of the leftover lor...

For dinner, he just want bread. So I made him jigsaw puzzle bread :)

With this cute cutter. It comes in set of 4 and I can make a giant puzzle with it. I really love this!

He had 4 times of milk, 2 slices of wholemeal bread, bits of apple and a small bowl of soup. :<

I hope that his fever subside tomorrow and gain his appetite back. Get well baby...
