Caleb starting solid food

Caleb is now officially 6 months old....

He started taking solid food 2 weeks ago. My mil cook plain porridge for him.

The 1st day, he finished up half bowl of plain porridge unwillingly. Because he gave me the '2 eyebrows drawn together' look. Lolz...

The 2nd day, after the 3rd spoon he began to his stunt. Food blowing. Every spoon that put inside his mouth, he'll blow out spontanously. Then he began to put his fingers and foot inside. Yes, you hear me right. HIS FOOT....after putting right foot in, followed by left foot...Conclusion: Porridge was everywhere, his face, his fingers, foots, my face, my hand...Sigh

The 3rd day. Rejected 1st spoon. Cry cry cry....dont even want to swallow. Cry cry cry.....then me and my mil give up. Quickly go and make milk. This caterpillar grumbling grumbling cry cry while drinking his milk until he finished up the whole bottle. Geng leh....Really cannot play play one.

The 4th day. Mix porridge with his milk powder. Conclusion: Finished up all the porridge. That's very good.

And the 5th day onwards, we feed him porridge with milk powder. Conclusion: Successful but still drinking 8oz of milk every porridge session. He's really growing into a huge caterpillar soon. Haha

Few days ago, I gave him plain porridge again. No more milk-flavor-porridge.
The first spoon, as usual that 2 eyebrows drawn together again. Haaaiii...so bad meh.

After a few spoon, he just eat. No complain. Can say achieve a little improvement. Finished up all the porridge in the end.

Yesterday I started to add more variety into his porridge. A cube of carrot.

Throw in and cook with porridge. After awhile take out and strain into paste. Add into the porridge. Smell nice :)

Last Christmas

Few weeks ago, we went to The Curve.

Main purpose is to bring Caleb to see light-light and bling-bling which is the reason I gave to lure his dadi to bring us go out for kai kai...

I love everything with Christmas.

I love Christmas trees.

I love Christmas ornaments.

I love Christmas songs.

I love Christmas lights

I love that Christmas atmosphere....and

I do love December.

In the car on the way to The Curve. I can't wait!

Coffee Beans Breakfast. It first recommend to me by my cousin sister and it got me hooked ever since.

This is also the first time jk agree with me in having breakfast in Coffee Bean!!

Well, jk can be a real mainland 'ah pek' when it comes to food. As what he said " Aiya...wan tan mee, lo mai kai, kai fan are the best and cheap breakfast ma" Anyway, just ignore his statement la.

Finally I'm full. Ok, I'll quietly lie down on my stroller and let mami eat her breakfast in peace.

Nope, that not likely what's happening. As soon as I put him down, he started to squirming inside and jk have to bring him outside strolling around  while I can eat my breakfast.

After breakfast, it's time to walk around but Caleb is giving me a sleepy face.

No choice lor. So, I just walked into shops and pushing him around. After 20 minutes, I peeked at him and he already sleeping soundly.

But as soon as he slept, he woke up half and hour later. But that's okla, because normally when he wake up from nap, he would be very chirpy. Then it's pictures time.

Ok, he still blur from his nap...

Now, this better...because my hand tickle him at the back. lol

the day Caleb nearly fall down from bed

Caleb is 5 months and 2 weeks now. He can roll over in a split seconds. He is learning how to crawl last week and he already mastered the skill improving bit by bit. He'll push both of his legs, bringing the whole body forward. But sometimes he would tumbling down with the head and roll over side way. I hope you know what am I trying to explain here. :)

We are back at my hometown now. And yesterday, this lil' caterpillar (haha..yes, I give alot of nicknames) had a near-fall-down-from-bed accident.

pls ignore the baby at the back. Just pay attention to the bolsters :)

I barricade him with 2 homemade heavy cottons bolsters before I went to the kitchen to have my lunch. Half and hour later, I went to check on him. He's still sleeping. Then I went back to kitchen for my soup and fruits. After that I wanted to go and bath but somehow, instinct told me to go and check on him again. Ok, went back to my room and I found Caleb at the edge licking the wooden bed frame. OMFG!!!!

How he manage to push through 2 heavy bolsters and crawled so far I have no idea. The only thing I know at that moment, my 2 legs turned into jelly bean. Luckily that unthinkable incident didnt happen. Believe it or not, the whole night I was trying to figure out what should I do if he really fall down from the bed. Pheewww..... maybe the 'bedside fairy' really watching over him :D

I bet I scare the shit of out mami....he he he
