PD Avillion @ 37 weeks

Backdated post. Should have finish up this post the night my contraction start. Mana tau, the next day I ended up in SJMC already...

I think I should blog about my PD trip before I'm off for my labour. Not sure when it will be but some of the signs are really showing... :S

Last friday (I'm in my week 37), we went to Avillion Port Dickson with my tummy looking like this.

No wonder I get stares from people walking opposite me.
Anyway, I've never been to Avillion in PD before. My last trip to PD was 5 or 6 years ago with a bunch of girlfriends and we stayed at those cheap hotel. Well at that time most of us were just start working. Not that we have so much to spend also. Really miss those carefree days: talk-plan-go :D

We arrived at PD around 2:30pm. Oh, actually the purpose of the whole trip was to take wedding pictures and videos. No-la, not me in my pregnant-wedding-gown, it is for jk's good friend. So, I just tagged along since there were nobody at home that day.

It was not in our initial plan to stay over but upon reaching there, we saw a petting farm with plentiful of jumping-furry-long ear-aka RABBITS!!

Actually there are a lot more rabbits lying around, just that I have no idea how to gather them and take a 'family potrait', haha.

Yea, right...can go sleep early tonight and dream about it... lol

This craving pregnant lady have to fork out RM14 + 5% government tax and 10% service charge which total up to RM16.10 for an ice cream, you know.
Ok ok..her husband did.

Issit good? Well, yeap.
Does it worth Rm16.10? Nope.
But cannot do anything also :D

See? they even craved 'haagen-dazs' on the wooden stick. What can I say? All this is hidden cost behind Rm16.10, right?

Peacocks all over the resort. Dont like them. Cocky fellas...

Every morning at 10am, they allow hotel guests to go in and feed all the animals. I want to go in too, but too bad, jk dont allow.

Well, I can only watch it over the fence. Jk, next time we go again, ok? (*wink wink) and I dont mean to petting zoo,ok? hehe
See? All the pets flocking around humans...and humans so eager to feed the pets.

And let's us meet this lansi chicken. While others are so busy pretending cute and hoping to be fed, this chicken just stand way up on a wooden stool and stare. I was bit scared when taking this picture, he look as if he might fly to me and poke my camera lens or my eyes or something like that...wtf
PD Avillion have real nice room. With sheer white lining hanging over the four-poster bed. For a moment I thought I'm having my honeymoon. But one glance over my tummy...mmm...nope, that's not really happening. :)

Pangkin day bed which serve as Mr. Lee's night bed because we suddenly took over the bed. hehe.... What is the meaning of pangkin anyway?
Mr Lee busy checking his equipment for the photoshoot later...Shhh...better dont disturb.You free ar? Come, help me take pictures...hahaha. Come on...move it move it!Pictures inside the bathroom. Toiletries. Nice arrangement.Nice toilet bowl. Too bad I can't 'mm mm' the next day. LolThey have this open skies concept bathroom, shower and toilet. So you can bath, shit or brush your teeth while watching an aeroplane flying over your head at the same time.

See there is a window there? The window actually connected thru bedroom and it cannot be locked on the bathroom side. So, I wont recommend to stay in this room if you are coming with a bunch of your mischevious friends. Nope...too dangerous.For a hefty Rm580 pernight, we found something that are not expected to be found.

A broken chair and holes on the sheer lining cloth above the bed. Not really a good image to show to your customer and moreover you are charging RM580 pernight leh....

Every chalet unit have this private balcony specifically over looking the Straits of Malacca.

but no hanging of clothes at the balcony hor...environment pollution.
Ok, back to work...

As Mr. Lee and Jk get down to work, taking pictures and video...
and me searching for any benchs or chairs to sit and eat my pringles, lol.Come and meet the new brides....Mr and Mrs TeohPretty bride.....She is a very nice and funny girl. I'm really glad to meet you. :DMr Teoh become restless after taking pictures for a few hours. After all those posing instructions head turn to left, eyes to the right, body swift to left, butt to right and bla bla bla...and smileee.

I totally understand how's that feeling. I remember when we took our wedding pictures, after few hours, my smile turned stiff and stared at the photographer. Tired like hell...

See, the bridegroom near to losing his mind and turned into chihuahua////...haha...kidding, kidding :) Well, congratulation new bride and groom. Me and jk wishing you 'white head till old'

Dan Tatt!!!

A short updates on egg tarts that I did the other day. When my cousin did this and send me some photos on how beautifully her tarts were, immediately I asked for recipe and did it on the day itself.

Pour in egg custard in and bake in the ovenAfter 20 minutes, all done....fresh from oven

I did 3 pieces with strawberry jam inside. Taste quite nice. Soury and sweet :D

Uncle Lim's cafe + Ikea + Gynae check up

We went to Ikea last thursday. The main reason was there no electricity at home from 10am to 5pm. No electricity can go crazy one, ok? So no choice la...go ikea kai kai lor and scout for baby cot as well.

9:45am - woke up and lazed on the sofa and watched astro

10am - Nothing happen, still watching astro

10:30am - still watching astro, haiii...what the heck, switched on laptop and played restaurant city

10:45am - how come nothing happen one? still watching astro and played restaurant city

11am - puffed..!!! no astro and no restaurant city

Kanneh...11am say 11am la....

So, time for cleaning up, bathing with no water heater....hehe. Anyway since it's so hot, I dont mind la.

Before go kai kai, have to bring footy out to vet for his tooth-and-nail-trimming session. This guy is a big struggler when it comes to anything that touches his feet or his mouth. He will struggle until we all give up on him. That's why I'm so willingly pay RM10 for his each session. Worth every penny!

After that, brought him back, put him back into cage, had a grumpy face. Lure him with brittal bunny also dont want. Ok, fine..let him be.

So, we proceed to Ikea. Plenty of carparks, no jam and not crowded at all. Isn't a bliss going to any shopping complex on weekdays?? :)

We had our lunch at this uncle Lim's kopitiam which was not crowded at all. One look at the menu, oh yea...nasi lemak sound real good, plus kopi...hehe

Jk had nasi lemak. I stole a few bites and yes, it tasted good. Sambal is nice....

I had chicken chop with mushroom sauce. Looks good huh? It taste even better....I know I shouldn't have so much fried stuff but...you know...'when she wants, she really WANTS!!' wahahaha

Jk made a mistake and ordered this teh susu for me. I actually craved for kopi susu, but since he already ordered, then no choice lor. As I was sipping, he finished his teh ais. I asked if he want some refill since he still got ice inside his glass. Then okla...he took my teh susu and ordered another kopi susu for me.. :D

Yeahhhh....pregnant lady won again!!!

After lunch, we went to Ikea but didnt manage to buy any baby cot because it already sold out. Still walked around scouting for wardrobe. Yes, after staying for almost 2 years, we still dont have a decent wardrobe. Just look see look see and we left at 4pm straight to my gynea check up. Since now I'm in my week 36, I have to go for my weekly check up. Baby already weight around 7 pounds. He is indeed a fat boy...:D

Final clean up and packing in Hometown

I went back to my hometown last weekend and had a few of my 'craving food' there.....


This will be my last trip going back up until I've delivered. Yupe, my confinement will be at my hometown, my house, my room, my bed and being serve by not 1 but 2 confinement lady. Like your royal highness like that..lollollol..... Who are the 2? My mom and my MIL laaaa.. :) One become my tukang masak and another one become my tukang jaga baby...Blissful eh? Dont jeles...hahahah



Anyway, since I dont have anything to do at home, I digged out all baby clothings that were given to me. Thank you auntie Sally, anutie Sujean and Hk's aunt. Yes, all given. Some are just newly bought by auntie Sujean, some 2nd hand passed down to me by auntie Sally. I dont mind, nope..not at all. Some are still new and like havent worn before.

See? Mountain and mountain of clothes. Maybe be if I have twin also cannot finish wearing.. :D

Yupe, these are the only part of it. Another half still at my MIL's place. But that will only fit when he's reaching 1 or 2 years old...

For now, it should be more than enough. Unless if I couldnt resist and buy those 'joker' baby clothes when I come across it again..heheheh..

1st time stepped foot in SJMC

This morning I woke up with chest pain. It just below my rib cage and it's really pain when I tried to move from left to right or right to left and taking a deep breath. As now I have to wake up more than 5 times just to go to the toilet in middle of the night. If I remained still for some time and move, I'll feel pain at the back, side, chest, butt, arms, pendek kata...everywhere la.... hai....

It worried me as I just had a fall few days ago and when I told jk in the morning, he asked whether want to go see doctor or not. I said ok. Dr. Fong's clinic not open on Wednesday ( he just open 3 days in a week), we have to go to SJMC if we really need to see him. So I thought, ok no harm going also as we havent been there before. We just want know that if anything happen, we know where we need to head to. We were told by Dr Fong's nurse we should straight go to Labour Ward, new wing, level 4 and not Emergency Unit because just pushing you in the wheelchair to Labour ward, they'll charge in the bill. Wahhh...Robbery in daylight without a knife arrrr.......sei mou

Anway, we drove to SJMC. As we reaching the traffic light, we dont know where to turn to as there are 2 buildings. Took a wild guess and choose the one on the right. And then we have to figure which entrance to go in...

Saw one entrance but there's sign showing "For doctors only" then another entrance, sign showing "Emergency Only" Damn...why they like to make us so confuse one. We looked closely again, just hiding beside the doctors entrance there is small entrance that didnt have any sign. Ahhh..this must be it la. Drove through and took the ticket. Luckily one car in front us was reversing. Wow...chap sei kai :p, or so I thought. In front us there was this Myvi car waiting with his signal light..tik tok tik tok. Cheh.... :(

But before the car was reversing out, another car beside was going to reverse also. Ok, not bad at all...So we waited for the 1st car to come out so that Myvi can go in and 2nd car out and we can go in......Sorry la..this post very cheung hei one..

Anyway, this bugger want reverse parking. Ok, fine la. We just wait. But the way he parked the car was so senget. We thought he will straighten it back because we need to park beside him. No, he didnt do that. He just leave it like that, came out from his car with his selamba face and walked off. I was so pissed off and I stared at him. What, think he is the only one rushing and we are not ar..Grrr......No choice la...we still park beside his car. I think he saw us talking inside while staring at him, because after he came out from his car and walking towards the hospital while keep on turning his back to look at us. Until we have park our car, come out, he still look see look see in our direction...See whether we got bang his car or not la....Serve him right!

Well, to cut the story short, Dr. Fong was not in his clinic when we went there and no choice we were transfered to another Gynae. Dr T.S. Tan. Asked me what he can help because he knows that I'm Dr. Fong's patient. Explained everything to him, what happen, when happen, feel pain now, why it happen...nola..this I didnt tell. You want me to tell him because I was chasing my rabbit that's why I fall down meh.. :)

He said it suppose to be ok since there is no bleeding and it can take much more impact than that. But just for safety, he did scanning for me. He said usually if there's falling accident happened, first thing to check whether there are any rupture in placenta. Luckily, nothing happen. Placenta still intact, a lot of fluid inside and baby's kicking. Thank God!! There were 2 nurses inside to assist me. They are sooo nice...helping me lay down and get up. Always tell me to be careful, careful...so nice :)

So, everything is ok. Went down to cashier for payment.


Taaaa-daaaaaaaaa.....and the bill came to RM102.50
-outpatient dept: RM14
-Imaging (less than 1 minute): RM43.50
-Consultation: RM45

No wonder there are 2 nurses inside. All package come with a price....
Pengsan leh...I want to go back and claim back from footy!!
